Recently, Indonesia’s island of Sulawesi was hit by a tsunami following a series of devastating earthquakes, affecting more than 1.5 million people. Our partner, Direct Relief, is working hard to supply Indonesia with much needed medical aid and supplies in response. If you click below to let us know you read this article, wikiHow will donate to Direct Relief on your behalf to support the relief effort for Indonesia.
Like talking to people and helping walk them through problems? You can bring in extra income as a contract customer support superstar for companies all over the world. 2. InboxDollars – InboxDollars is similar to Swagbucks, since you’re going to be taking surveys, shopping, etc., so if you want to maximize your return, sign up with both websites. They also offer a search engine that pays you (like Swagbucks) and you get $5 just for signing up.  I won’t continue to list survey sites one after another down the list, but if you want to get paid to take surveys, also check out GlobalTestMarket, E-Poll Surveys and Survey Club.
MemberPress is a feature-rich plugin that will enable you to turn your WordPress blog into a fully functional membership site. Depending on how you want to run your membership site, you could have a mixture of free and premium membership plans. Premium plans could include no adverts, free downloads, access to extra content, membership forums, and much more. However, it is important to remember that if people are going to pay to view your content then it must be high quality. Otherwise your members won’t renew their subscriptions when the time comes.

If my piece of content is so unique and valuable around hiking backpack recommendations, that other reputable outdoor websites are willing to link to it and build the page’s authority, then I’d have a very real opportunity to rank high in organic search for these search terms (meaning, my page will come up first when someone searches for hiking backpacks).

The market for drones is expanding. Companies hire out work like aerial inspection, photography and land mapping. So if you’re already a drone enthusiast, why not put your aircraft to work? You first need to register it with the Federal Aviation Administration and obtain a license from them for commercial use. Then, you can apply for gigs as a drone pilot. Learn how to start making money with drones.
If you’re serious about making money selling things online, it’s pretty much impossible to not recommend Shopify. The platform gives you everything you need to get your online store up and running in less than a day including a custom domain, beautiful templates (so you don’t need design skills), secure payment options, and they can even take care of marketing and shipping for you. Whether you’re selling your own products, designs, or curating other products for people in your niche, Shopify is the best option for powering your online store.

Photographs. Because your customers won’t be able to touch or hold your items, you need to give them as much of a visual feel for the products as you can. You’ll do it with photographs – but not just any photos. They have to be pleasing to the eye and make the item look fantastic. You’ll have to learn the art of photography, and if you can’t get the hang of it, you’ll have to hire someone to do it for you. Yes, it’s that important.
I know this is an old post, but just in case someone comes across it like I did. Another site similar to Swagbucks is Instagc.com I tend to earn faster there to. Also, try Perk Tv, it’s a mobile app you run videos on your phone or tablet and earn points towards gift cards. I run the app on an old phone 24/7 and on my day to day phone when I’m not using it, and I average about $10 in Walmart gift cards a week. You can run the app on multiple devices at the same time, if your earning points to fast they will email you. I’ve run it on as many as 3 at the same time and haven’t received an email yet.

Do you see all of those articles, tutorials and guides all over the Internet? Somebody wrote every one of them! If you have decent writing ability (no, you don’t need a journalism degree!), and knowledge in a few specific topic areas, you can be one of those writers. It’s an opportunity to make money online and without ever leaving your home. It’s also the kind of venture that can start out as a small side business, but grow into a full-time career.

If you’re a skilled writer, designer or photographer, consider freelance work. Many business and individuals seek out content writers, contributors and journalists to help craft their message and document their products. For those who love to write but aren’t ready for their own blog, freelance is a great option to test the waters. Check out the opportunities on ProBlogger or JournalismJobs.com, especially if you enjoy technical writing.
Mechanical Turk: Amazon's Mechanical Turk is a resource for doing human-intelligence tasks, or as the site commonly refers to them, HITs. You get paid a very small fee for any given HIT and you'll need a good deal of volume to make a substantial amount of money. But it is a resource you can use in your spare time to generate a small income online.

Many of my readers aren’t hip on the idea of becoming a rideshare driver. It can be a little intimidating being in a car alone with a stranger. A great alternative in the same industry is becoming a courier. Sites like Postmates, UberEats, Amazon Flex and others can be a great opportunity to earn extra cash delivering everything from lunch to packages. These can be good side hustles with flexible schedules. In some areas, I have also seen a big boom in medical courier opportunities, and these don’t pay too shabby!

Tutor students. Many families prefer the flexibility of using an online tutor. Depending on your background, you could be simply helping a child with homework or providing college-level support. You need to have your own computer and high speed internet. Experience required differs among companies. Some require “strong experience,” while others require a specific educational background. However, most companies do require a college degree.
10. Freelance Writing: Are you an expert on a local topic? Maybe you’re everyone’s go-to girl when it comes to getting the best deals in town. Or you’re a foodie, and know all the ins and outs of your local restaurant scene. Maybe you’d be a great parenting expert, or full of tips on how to build a great marriage – whatever your area of expertise, why not share your tips and get paid for it as a local Examiner in your city? You get your own syndicated column, and it’s incredibly easy to get started. Join Examiner.com today. Check out my Frugal Living column to see an example – {and click the subscribe button under my photo if you’d like to get my newsletter!} Another super simple way to use your writing skills is to set up an account at Squidoo.com – creating “lenses” there is super fun, and can lead to residual income for a long time.
OneSpace is a short task platform where you're paid for a variety of tasks, such as copywriting, translation, quality assurance, transcription, editing, design, taking surveys, and lots more. To get started, submit your application. When opportunities come in that meet your skills — you'll be contacted via email. Once you accept an assignment, complete the work, and it's approved, you'll be paid daily via PayPal. OneSpace works with companies like Overstock, Staples, and Lowe's and they have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
Need more ideas on how to make money online? Another strategy is using webinars to market your product, service, or course. I’ve done webinars to promote my financial planning practice and to drum up interest in my online course for financial advisors. With a webinar, you’re basically offering a lot of tips and advice for free — usually in a live format. At the end though, you pitch your paid product or service with the goal of securing a few deals.
